Thanksgiving
Hebrews 13:15-16 NIV
“Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
The day that America celebrates known as Thanksgiving is what at first glance seems to be a time for family to come together and for the year to wrap up bringing in Christmas and the New Year. However this holiday is based off of something every human alive needs to be aware of and participating in for our Creator and not for a family gathering; Our praise to the Father is the most important and the first ever thanksgiving we are supposed to have knowledge of! We are called to thank Him for everything that He does for us and with purpose, in schools and just the general basis of the day people are announcing WHAT they are thankful for and WHO but it always seems that Yah is forgotten and left out. Those who bless and thank Yah for His mercy and grace in their lives are covered with His protection. Thanking is a very important part of intimacy in a relationship between two people and what better way to expand your horizons with the one who will love you more and do more for you than anyone you’ll ever meet in your life? We must take this day to remember who gave us everything and thanking Him for doing all that He has in our lives no matter how big or small they may be. We must begin to reverence our Creator as the remnant of the people who will be saved because NO ONE ELSE WILL! We are the elect and what better way to express that than by offering up thanks to the one who has your back no matter the season or luncheon! Worship Yah today and offer a sacrifice of thanks to Him for all His glorious wonders He does in our lives that we understand and those that are beyond our comprehension. It’s very important when giving thanks to address WHO you are giving it to unlike the known rituals of the holiday saying baseless thanks, when saying thanks always add Jesus name at the end, “Thank you Jesus” is the phrase that you should start all thanksgiving with!
Leviticus 7:11-21 NIV
““ ‘These are the regulations for the fellowship offering anyone may present to the Lord: “ ‘If they offer it as an expression of thankfulness, then along with this thank offering they are to offer thick loaves made without yeast and with olive oil mixed in, thin loaves made without yeast and brushed with oil, and thick loaves of the finest flour well-kneaded and with oil mixed in. Along with their fellowship offering of thanksgiving they are to present an offering with thick loaves of bread made with yeast. They are to bring one of each kind as an offering, a contribution to the Lord; it belongs to the priest who splashes the blood of the fellowship offering against the altar. The meat of their fellowship offering of thanksgiving must be eaten on the day it is offered; they must leave none of it till morning. “ ‘If, however, their offering is the result of a vow or is a freewill offering, the sacrifice shall be eaten on the day they offer it, but anything left over may be eaten on the next day. Any meat of the sacrifice left over till the third day must be burned up. If any meat of the fellowship offering is eaten on the third day, the one who offered it will not be accepted. It will not be reckoned to their credit, for it has become impure; the person who eats any of it will be held responsible. “ ‘Meat that touches anything ceremonially unclean must not be eaten; it must be burned up. As for other meat, anyone ceremonially clean may eat it. But if anyone who is unclean eats any meat of the fellowship offering belonging to the Lord, they must be cut off from their people. Anyone who touches something unclean—whether human uncleanness or an unclean animal or any unclean creature that moves along the ground—and then eats any of the meat of the fellowship offering belonging to the Lord must be cut off from their people.’ ”
This is the original thanksgiving celebration appointed to Israel in the bible. Israel today is anyone who is cleansed and obedient to the blood of the Messiah Yahusha. Everything in this celebration offers reverence to Yah and shows just how serious it has always been to glorify in your Creator and not defile yourself with anything at all if you can help it. Thanksgiving is such a broad holiday because it gives people the opportunity to say what they are thankful for and most never mention their Creator, rather creations and things they have made with their own hands, this does not please Yahuwah. This holiday was based off of the betrayal of the white man unto the Gadites (Tribe of Gad, Native Americans) && the Aboriginal Dark Skinned Americans and everyone down to the children know these things yet still celebrate. You hate the way of the white man but you are not doing anything to separate yourself from His way. Your kids wear mock indian hats and draw hand turkeys while these people are STILL being displaced and persecuted to this day. This holiday is detestable to me because it celebrates the travail of my people regardless of you are up on your history or not. After this feast everything was stripped from the Natives and the country was overridden with European culture and blood from the natives, latins, and blacks. Daughter Babylon has been built on wickedness and treachery since the Mother of her first was established and a lot of it is the exact same kinds of wickedness and treachery: Child sacrifice, flesh eating, orgies with unwilling participants, flogging of anyone unwilling to bow the knee to Nimrod, killing the innocent because they can and so many more wicked and treacherous practices. Come out of ALL of Her ways if you are called by my name and I will be your deliverer from all evil that you understand and that you don’t. Come out of Babylon and stop taking part in these detestable feasts that offer thanks to foreign gods, Yah is not pleased.
