Joseph Barsabbas or Barnabas & Judas Barsabbas
** THE GOSPEL IS THE BESORAH **
Joseph Barsabbas
Son of the sabbath/Gods will
Chosen/called to be an apostle/disciple; After Yah was prayed to by the apostles for whose heart was better fit to replace Matthias was chosen (Acts 1:23-26) Though Barsabbas was not chosen he was still apart of the 70 disciples that followed Yahusha/Jesus which means he was called to preach the Besorah. “Many are called but few are chosen.” — Matthew 22:14
Barsabbas was around from the time of John’s baptism until Jesus ascension to heaven & witnessed His resurrection. Joseph Barsabbas was Barnabas (Son of encouragement). In Acts 1 he was not chosen but acts 4 was called by Yah & he forsook his field & brought the money to the apostles this was the first mention of the name Barnabas (Acts 4:36-37).
Just because he was not chosen to be replacement apostle didn’t mean that Yah didn’t have other plans for him. Later he is sent to Tarsus to find Paul and experience the Lord in a unique way unlike the disciples; He & Paul got into a disagreement regarding John Mark & split for a season to preach the gospel in different places. Barnabas was Mark’s cousin & companion disciple & witness to the life and expeditions of our Messiah, Yahusha.
Judas Barsabbas
Judas was chosen as a prophet while Joseph was called to be an evangelist or to preach the Gospel. Many are called to preach the Besorah but few are chosen to preach the Besorah && be apart of the five fold ministry. An evangelist is anointed before creation to preach the gospel and same as to prophesy.
Joseph was not chosen to be replacement apostle but he was called to bring people to Yahuwah in another unique way through encouragement from the Gospel.
Judas was a prophet and apostle of Yahusha & he may have been related to Joseph Barsabbas or Barnabas.

YAH USES THESE TWO MEN WHO WERE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST TO SHOWCASE THE SIGNIFICANCE OF BEING CALLED VS BEING CHOSEN. YAH SEES ALL HEARTS AND HE TESTS THE REINS OF ALL MEN, HE WILL NEVER ASSIGN YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN HANDLE OR WHAT WILL CAUSE YOU TO BE TRAMPLED ON.
EPHESIANS 4:11-16 NIV **
“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
ACTS 15:22-41 KJV
SEPARATION OF THE BODY OF CHRIST BASED ON BELIEFS & SMALL DISPUTES (THEN PAUL & BARNABAS!)
“Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren: and they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: it seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; that ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well. So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle: which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation. And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them. And after they had tarried there a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles. Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still. Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also. And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do. And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark. But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work. And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus; and Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God. And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.”
